Formation of the Club’s Children and Youth Band

Thanks to the initiative of Oscar Zenón Acevedo, a fundamental pillar in the history and growth of the club, the creation of the Children and Youth Band, was successfully achieved. This band is made up of children and teenagers, and consists mainly of wind instruments. The initiative was later continued by member Hector Miranda and is currently led by members Jorge Carrizo y Leonardo Campillay. This project represents a cultural and educational milestone for the community, as it offers young people the opportunity to express themselves through music, developing their artistic sensibility and sense of belonging.
A highlight of this initiative was the First Band Gathering, held in December 2018, featuring the prestigious participation of the Argentine Army Band and the Deán Funes School Band, this event became a true celebration of musical art and a space for connection and exchange between institutions.
