Rotary Club Rada Tilly

Minutes No. 1 – Foundation of Rotary Club Rada Tilly (1994)

On September 22, 1994, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Comodoro Rivadavia, the first formal meeting was held to launch the future Rotary Club of Rada Tilly. Rotarians from Comodoro Rivadavia together with residents of Rada Tilly gathered with the goal of establishing a local club to promote Rotary values.

During the meeting, the foundations and principles of the Rotary movement were shared, generating an enriching exchange of ideas. It was agreed that each participant from Rada Tilly would invite new people interested in joining, aiming to reach the necessary number to receive the Charter.

Thursdays at 9:30 PM were set as the meeting day, with a maximum duration until midnight. The next meeting was scheduled for Thursday, September 29, at the home of Rotarian Raúl Vitullo, who kindly offered his space for this purpose.

This initial gathering concluded in an atmosphere of fellowship, highlighted by a barbecue among friends, considered the foundational act of Rotary Club Rada Tilly.
